Steelheel Kickboxing Academy will not change a failed grade under any circumstances.
All Students must be in full attendance 90 days prior to enable them to participate in their next grading, there will be no exceptions to this rule.
When competing all students must bring their own required safety equipment. Any student without equipment will not be allowed to compete.
Unlike other clubs we do not charge fighters who compete in contact events. Any fighter who states they wish to compete will be required to sign a fighters agreement and pay £75.00 per adult, £50 per junior along with the agreement. Please note that this is due to fighters being matched off for a fight and with one pulling out this not only lets the other fighter down, but also gives the Academy a bad reputation. The full payment of £75.00 will be retuned to the fighter after they have competed in the event. Again the agreement will only be lawful under signed contract. Should the fighter who has signed the agreement fail to show for the competition, the fee paid will be to the fighter or instructor of the matched competitor.
Should any student wish to compete for a title fight under the World International Martial Arts Association must pay a fee of 50% toward the sanctioning costs of the title bout. This fee will be a non-refundable amount. WIMAAO is a non profit making company and the fee enables the organisation to continue to offer fighters opportunities without charging a membership fee.
